So, as my HTC 8925 (aka AT&T Tilt) phone started randomly hanging up after a minute or two of calls recently, I decided it was time for an upgrade. With my satisfaction with HTC products, I decided to pick up the HTC Fuze. The fuze offers many of the features of the AT&T Tilt, with improved hardware. There were a few tweaks needed to get the phone to where I wanted it (ie enabling some disabled camera modes and HSDPA).
Continue Reading »So Google has officially released it’s Latitude mobile location service. Although I’ve had a bit of trouble with setting it up on my phone, the application is actually relativly useful. CNN has an in depth article on the new software located here: Google Latitude.
Check it out.The privacy options are extensive, from being able to change your location manually (via iGoogle) or being able to hide yourself all together. You can set up meeting points, send sms and even place calls via the app.
Not bad Mr Google!!
