I recently tried switching my small business to a new hosting company, Neosurge. I hadn’t read any reviews other than the promotional advertisements that looked to be generated by Neosurge solutions themselves. As there were no negative reviews and the domain had been active under the same owner for a few years, I figured it well worth the try.
Continue Reading »So, as my HTC 8925 (aka AT&T Tilt) phone started randomly hanging up after a minute or two of calls recently, I decided it was time for an upgrade. With my satisfaction with HTC products, I decided to pick up the HTC Fuze. The fuze offers many of the features of the AT&T Tilt, with improved hardware. There were a few tweaks needed to get the phone to where I wanted it (ie enabling some disabled camera modes and HSDPA).
Continue Reading »So I ran across another article about the differences between Gnome and KDE. This one was a bit different that usual, in that the evaluation was not solely on features and support; rather, the development direction of each. Is it better to focus on legacy system support or put more effort towards new cutting-edge technologies? Which leads to the most exposure for GNU/Linux? Is there a truly, “Best Desktop Manager?”
I suppose it’s a matter of which affects each individual the most. I personally use KDE, so I’m a bit biased, but this article does a great job of reviewing the development practices and estimating the future direction of the two drastically different Desktop Managers.
